The school provides financial assistance based on academic achievement in the form of half-time (our most common), three-quarter time, and full-time awards. All provide tuition remission.
- Au.D. and master's level half-time awards provide a stipend of $5,806 and require 10 hours per week service.
- Three-quarter time awards provide a stipend of $8,710 and require 15 hours per week service.
- Full-time awards provide a stipend of $11,613 and require 20 hours per week service.
- Ph.D. level awards provide stipends of $11,613 with 20 hours per week service. Most full-time Ph.D. students receive financial aid.
In addition to university-funded graduate assistantships and teaching fellowships, awards are available from several grant sources.
Currently, there are three grants that support the training of master's students in speech-pathology to specialize in clinical management issues relating to speech and language impairments in children (1) from special populations, and (2) with hearing loss.
