Any person who has specifically declared and is affirmatively committed to career-technical education and who meets the following qualifications shall be eligible for candidacy to membership in the Society and shall be a member after being properly inducted. Members Shall:
I. Hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
II. Have at least ONE of the following requirements.
- The completion of eight semester hours of graduate work in professional career-technical education courses with a minimum of three of the eight graduate hours having been earned at Kent State University. The grade point average in these eight semester hours of credit shall be at least B or 85 percent with evidence of career-Technical Education as the candidate's major field.
- Hold an advanced degree from Kent State University with an emphasis on career-Technical Education.
Annual Program of Work
OTT Tau chapter meets twice annually in Kent during the fall term and in a local school during spring. Tau chapter also supports professional development conference for career-technical teachers in north-east Ohio. OTT also supports an annual awards program recognizing a new professional and a distinguished leader. Nominate a candidate for an award (online form coming soon).
