Our curricula define our programs, but people animate the structures and bring learning to life.
Alumni
Our programs boast almost 800 alumni. Graduates of our program are leaders in colleges, universities, and other educational organizations throughout Ohio and the nation.
Faculty
Our faculty is comprised of full-time tenured and tenure-track faculty members in the Department of Teaching, Leadership, and Curriculum Studies. They are joined by adjunct faculty who are experienced administrators and talented teachers. Faculty at Kent State University are reviewed using the Boyer (1990) model dimensions of Scholarship of Discovery, Scholarship of Integration, Scholarship of Application, Scholarship of Teaching, and University Citizenship.
Students
Students in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel are admitted through a selective process. They bring (and continue to develop) experience and leadership in colleges and universities throughout the region. They have organized a student organization, GRASPP, to support their learning experiences.
Honors, awards, Recognition
Many of our students, faculty, and alumni are recipients of much deserved recognition. Please keep us advised on your honors and awards so we can post them on this brag page!
