Proposal submission extended to Friday, February 1st. Educational Research Exchange (ERE) is organized by a consortium of universities, which include Central State University, Cleveland State University, Kent State University, The University of Akron, and Youngstown State University (YSU). Hosting of the annual conference rotates among the constituent universities and the fifth annual conference in 2008 will be sponsored by Kent State University (KSU) and will be held: March 07, 2008 The ERE is an annual mini-conference provides an opportunity for graduate students and faculty advisors to share their research endeavors in a collegial atmosphere. The primary objective of the conference is to provide a learning environment where graduate students can gain professional skills and experience in presenting their research to an academic audience. This opportunity allows the graduates to build necessary skills in scholarly interactions, professional relationships with other graduate students and faculty in the region, and gain experience with conference presentation. This is a forum for graduate students and faculty across universities in the region to share, exchange, and learn ideas from each other in a supportive and cordial environment. Through a broad base of faculty support and firsthand experience in research discourse, Graduates will garner valuable professional repertoire necessary to succeed in their chosen professional career paths.
