2008 ConferenceThe fifth annual conference (2008) of the ERE will be sponsored by Kent State University (KSU), which will be held on March 07, 2008 (approximately from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm) in the Ball Room at the Moulton Hall. The ERE is an annual mini-conference provides an opportunity for graduate students and faculty advisors to share their research endeavors in a collegial atmosphere. The primary objective of the conference is to provide a learning environment where graduate students can gain professional skills and experience in presenting their research to an academic audience. This opportunity allows the graduate students to build necessary skills in scholarly interactions, professional relationships with other graduates and faculty in the region, and gain experience with conference presentation. This is a forum for graduate students and faculty across universities in the region to share, exchange, and learn ideas from each other in a supportive and cordial environment. Through a broad base of faculty support and firsthand experience in research discourse, graduates will garner valuable professional repertoire necessary to succeed in their chosen professional career paths. Graduates will benefit immensely from the conference if a large number of faculty members are able to attend and participate. Faculty may volunteer to review proposals, chair a session, be a discussant, conduct a one hour professional development workshop or attend to give support to the graduate students, all important components of scholarly conferences. We invite you to take part in the 2008 ERE conference, and look forward to your participation. Send your proposal to ere2008.kent@gmail.com
