The School of Exercise, Leisure and Sport at Kent State University is committed to teaching and fostering a personalized approach to the undergraduate educational experience. Students study under a distinguished and dedicated faculty, active in teaching, scholarship, research and professional activities.

More than 90 percent of the faculty hold doctoral degrees, and all faculty and staff are committed to working closely with students. Students have opportunities to participate in practicum, internships, field experiences (including student teaching), service programs, and individual as well as faculty research. Graduates of the school have attended prestigious graduate schools and/or have become distinguished professionals in their fields.
